Hey y'all! Welcome back to the fifth album, and boy howdy do we have a lot of light piano melodies for you today.

But first, a history lesson:
The (un)official subtitle of this album is "Stories Left Untold". Why? I'll tell you why.
Long ago I had a mate called Sciahn, he was pretty dope. He was makin' a cool game and I was all "I can totally make music for it" and so I did! That's what the Sincostan theme in Volume 3 was. I figured it'd be cool if I compiled the soundtrack into its own special album, but eventually he just kinda stopped talking about it. That kind of sucks, but I still wanted to make the soundtrack in spite of the game never being finished (or even started, for that matter). Hence where "Stories Left Untold" came from.

Plot twist! I eventually got bored of this notion and decided that Volume 5 would instead be about the ocean, and it shows! There's quite a few ocean-influenced songs here, and I wanted it to be a short, tasteful album of some of my best pieces. I wanted the titles to tell a story and have the listening experience be an adventure of a lady who becomes a mermaid and explores the ocean but is soon called back to the land... But then I got bored of THAT notion too, and decided to make it more like my other albums (i.e a compilation of tracks I had lying around) but with a slight oceanic influence. So now the OTHER story of the ocean was also "left untold", bringing me back to the original subtitle in the end.

And thus, the circle of stupidity is complete.
