about
Despite the repetition later in the song, I made this song after I thought to myself "Maybe if I treat every new pattern as if it were a totally new song, I could create some variation in my song and thus something good."
The name "scribblepad" is named after the most notable fetch modus used by Jade Harley, a character from Homestuck. The cover art is also similarly influenced. I have a whiteboard replica of Jade Harley's modus. The moon in the cover art is there because that is what's on my scribblepad in real life. I have it there to remind me to check for full moons, because I've taken a picture of every single one in 2016 thus far.
