about
This is a song using the motif from "A Picnic With Your Friends!"
When I first showed this song to my mother, she noted that the repeating bell pattern in the background sounded awfully familiar. I agreed with her, but neither of us could remember where we heard it from.
The cover art for this song is inspired by, and is a parody of, the works of Porter Robinson; more specifically his album "Worlds". I am honestly kind of bummed out that I used this piece of art on a song that I don't personally find to be as good as other songs on this album. But I suppose there isn't a rule that forbids me from reusing artwork styles.
Expect mysticToaster Volume 5 to have album art similar to this with the elevator replaced with something cooler, unless I do a parody of the closing credits in Phantom Blood with the mask on the wall with blood around it and stuff- you know the one.

Brash experimental electronic compositions from this Tulsa-based musician heavy on serrated sheets of sound that hiss and scald. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 27, 2023
The origin behind this delightfully brutal glitch/noise record is wild: a program that plays any application as if it’s an audio file. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 10, 2022
